Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has pledged reform and opening up to face increasing global challenges. He’s called for the protection of farmers’ voting rights, and the improvement of rural community administration. The Premier made the remarks during a recent trip to Guangdong Province.He says during a time of global uncertainty, furthering reform is key to solving economic and social challenges. He notes "Opening-up and reform should be implemented unswervingly, or there will only be a dead end."
